I have
seen this little robot before. I know it's based on a Japanese character.
But I don't know the name of it. Well, I didn't know the name until
now. This toy is based on a character from a Japanese live action show
titled "Ganbare, Robocon!" The character starred in a sitcom-like show in Japan in the 1970s. The robot was part of a class that tried to live with humans. Robocon was the dunce, always getting a "0" grade. Here he
is...
Here is the front and back of the box this little guy comes in. The box measures in at 5" X 5" X 3". I don't know why, but the makers of this toy call him Numeral Robot. |
| Here is the Numeral Robot in all its glory. The robot stands about four inches tall. He runs on two AA batteries. The blue portion lifts up. There are four different gears that can be attached to the robot that will allow change the direction/path that the robot follows when I turn it on. |
