Monster: Godzilla Bootleg Action Figures
Here is a toy line featuring everybody's favorite Japanese Monster (well, mine at least). Godzilla
This bootleg toy line is called Monster. The artwork on the card features Godzilla and Space Godzilla. The figures are bootlegs of the Trendmaster Godzilla figures.
This first figure is MechaGodzilla. MechaGodzilla stands about five and a half inches tall. The eyes on this figure are red. Check out the tail. In order for the figure to fit under the bubble, the tail is a separate attachment.
Gidorah stands almost six inches in height. His wing span is just over seven inches. The eyes are painted the same red as the inside of the mouth.
Like Mecha Godzilla, Gidorah's tail is packaged unattached to the figure.

This figure has articulation at the heads, legs, tail and wings all have articulation.

This figure is Space Godzilla. Of the bootleg toys in this line that I own, Space Godzilla is the only figure with a paint job. And the bootleggers almost got it right.
The authentic figure is painted a lighter shade of blue. Also, the head of the bootleg figure is not all blue.
Space Godzilla's middle portion should have had a more defined paint job to separate the green from the red. Still, I suppose if you are not familiar with this line of toys, you would not notice a difference.

Space Godzilla stands about five inches tall.
This is my favorite figure in this bootleg toy line.

Godzilla is the last figure I have in the Monster bootleg toy line. There may be a couple more figures out there. I know there is at least a bootleg of Mecha King Gidorah.
Godzilla is not green like the "real" figure. Instead, the bootleggers have used an almost black plastic to create this toy. Godzilla's spine is painted a silver blue color. The original figures spine is painted silver.

Sorry the pic's so crummy, but it's kinda hard to take a decent pic of a black figure.

That's it for this line of bootleg Godzilla figures. Normally, I don't like it when the bootleg toys aren't too much different from the "real" toys they are copying. But this is Godzilla. You can't go wrong with a Godzilla figure in my book.
