Star Wars Heads
 

The following little statues feature head shots of various Star Wars characters. The characters are from both the original trilogy and the latest Star Wars movie, The Phantom Menace. 
Now to be honest with you, the origin of these things baffles me. I have no idea what molds were used to manufacture these things. 
All of these heads stand about an inch and a half tall. They are all made of a solid plastic.  There are eight all together in this series. 
Now I know that in England, there were some candies that were sold that came in plastic heads of Star Wars characters. The characters that were produced were Darth Vader, Yoda, C3PO, a Stormtrooper and Chewbacca. But these figurines include Episode One characters. So maybe right now there are some Episode One candies being sold somewhere with Episode One character heads? 
 
These first two characters are probably my most favorite and my most disliked characters in the Star Wars series. Jar Jar Binks and Darth Vader. 
Here are Queen Amidala and Anakin Skywalker with his pilot helmet on. The detail on these particular statues is pretty amazing. 
 
 
 
 
Next up are Darth Maul and C3PO as seen in the second trilogy. Again, there is no mistaking the great detail to the Darth Maul head. 
 
 
 
 

 
 
 

The last two characters represented are Yoda and a Stormtrooper. The presence of these two figures along with the other characters from the original series is what leads me to think that the molds for these items may have come from the candie heads I mentioned earlier.

This Lucasfilm LTD is under each and every one of these statues. There is no manufacturer name anywhere. All of these items are sold loose. They do not come in any packaging of any kind. 
Some of the statues have the number 03 under them. While other heads have the number 04 under them. 

So whaddaya think? Bootlegs or the real deal? 
One last thing, these things originated in Singapore. I have never seen them in the US (yet)
