Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gun

This old toy I remember picking up because it struck me as kinda funny. I wasn't really into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But I was amused by this toy. If I remember right, this toy was being sold around 1991 or 1992. 
Okay, everybody who has seen an episode where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles using a machine gun, please raise your hands. Hmmmpphh! Just as I thought. Okay, check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gun. 

 
 
 

Whoa Baby! This toy would just about complete any TMNT collection. I mean, what couldn't be more TMNT than a freaking machine gun? 
If the Turtles would have used this in their series, they would have ko'd the Dragonlord pretty fast. 
Nothing says Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles like a handy dandy rifle. 
This shot of the side of the box explains how to put the six AA batteries into the gun. 
 

Here's the gun. Waitaminute!! This isn't the same gun pictured on the box? This things freaking blue!! 
And what's up with that Super Rangers sticker on the side? This is supposed to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knock off. Not some cheesy Power Rangers rip off. 
I want back my three or four bucks or whatever the hell I paid for this thing waaaaay back when!
 


 
 
 

Well, despite the fact that the bootleggers inserted a gun (rifle, really) in the box that has a sticker that obviously is ripping off the Power Rangers. This is a great knock off toy.  Especially when ya consider that the bootleggers didn't even bother to change the name of toy line. I mean, they called this toy "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". No slight change to the name. No change in the logo.They even have drawings of the turtles on the box. I tell ya the bootleggers sure did have some balls when they made this toy.
Oh. Real quick. The box measures in at 15" X 8". The pic ya see up on top of the page is on the front and back of the box. All the sides feature pics of the gun and the turtles. The gun (rifle) measures almost 15" long and stands about 7.5" high.
