Here is my only
bootleg toy featuring the Marvel Team Up line. This two pack features
Wolverine and the villian Tombstone. Wolverine is painted gold, purple
and blue. Tombstone's costume is painted black with grey underwear. The
artwork on the card features several Marvel Comics characters. Underneath
the characters is a drawing of a planet blowing up. This planet artwork
is also used in the Marvel Team Up two packs that feature Superman and
Batman elsewhere on this web site. There is a blurb on the card that says
this package is a limited edition of 5,000. The paint jobs on these figures
is really pretty good for a bootleg toy. Unfortunately, the Tombstone
pin leaves much to be desired.
There were
several more different team ups in this bootleg series. Unfortunately,
I only bought this one. Since then, I never saw these anywhere again.
